Most of my work is with under performing companies in well established, major markets. They tend to have viable value propositions and a well established client base. Many of them come to me through investors who are realizing poorer results than expected. Some are companies run by owners who are contemplating retirement or major changes in the senior team. Still others are preparing to push through to the next level.
I engage as a senior advisor to the principal interest. Many times my remit involves a complete reorganization or overhaul of the senior team. I specialize in building high performance sales teams. I also organize Advisory Boards as high-performance business development engines. My book Amazing Pace: Turbo-Charged Business Development describes those boards. Sometimes my work focuses on the need to expand or refine a value proposition or range of offerings. Charting a new course can be challenging for any company. My years of experience and wide range of connections allow me to bring fresh thinking into the process and revitalize a sedentary corporate culture. Here are a few examples of recent engagements:
Senior Advisor at DataLine: DataLine is a leading transformational technology solutions provider to Department of Defense (DoD) and federal customers. Since 1990, its focus has been to integrate best-in-class technologies to provide robust, cost-effective Information Technology (IT) solutions for organizations of all sizes and missions of all criticalities. In partnership with customers, they are accelerating the rate of change in the DoD’s transformation to Net-Centric Warfare and progressing America’s capability for total Information Dominance. I am helping to reorganize the sales and business development efforts, designing an Advisory Board and advising the CEO on strategic and tactical planning.
Strategic Advisor at CSNW: I act as a strategic advisor to the Chairman of the Board and President of CSNW. I have designed and built a new management team – including a highly experienced and professional sales team, helped develop and launch a rebranding of the company and evolved a new value proposition for the company. CNS LLC is a Virginia based System Engineering Services firm focused on the research, design, integration, and implementation of Information Technology (IT), Software Systems, Database Architectures, and Interactive Multi-media Instruction (IMI) for the Federal Government, Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and Commercial customers. They have a 20-year legacy in assessing, formulating and deploying Data Processing, Communications, and Networking infrastructures with secure quick-response solutions, customized applications development, and professional IT services worldwide. Their engineers and specialists satisfy technical, logistical and training missions vital to the Department of Defense (DOD) and the United States interests abroad.
Chairman, Advisory Board at Ordia Solutions Inc: Ordia Solutions, a leading provider of advanced collaboration tools and interoperability solutions, is taking a leadership role in the development and fielding of disruptive technologies such as the Mobile Tactical Collaboration System™ (MTCS) to deliver a force multiplier advantage to law enforcement, fire/EMS, and search and rescue personnel in their courageous efforts to secure and protect the homeland. I helped to restructure the core value proposition, reorganize the management team, stand up an Advisory Board, build a new sales team and arrange for a recapitalization of the company.
Strategic Advisor at Metro Capital: Metro Capital offers the highest quality of financial services as Balance Sheet Surgeons. Crafting settlements – and infusing cash – since 1994, we have put many millions of $’s back into creditors’ accounts – and saved hundreds of companies from Bankruptcy! I helped to refocus the value proposition, develop and launch a re-branding and advised the CEO on strategic planning.

Our cleaning is in strict adherence with NFPA 96 standards requiring that all components of your system be cleaned to bare metal to guarantee the complete removal of grease and oily residue. I helped organize a new sales team, produced a process mapping that significantly improved operating results, refocused the value proposition, redesigned the command and control systems, coached the CEO and advised the investors on strategic planning.
